We are high income w2 married couple. We have been taking care of small animal for last 3 years. We are planning to open a non-profit that will rescue and rehabilitate small animals from our home (we have dedication around 20% space in our home for it) .
Should we open an LLC for this operation and cover expenses through it?
we are also planning to help elderly,poor and orphans overseas by giving them small grants. Should we open a separate non-profit or can we combine these non-profit and open one general non-profit.
please guide.
