I am a retired US military member. I am awaiting the US govt to pay me for thier past mistakes from my VA issues. I believe I have 1 hurdle to overcome. Will be working on it in March!!! When the govt pays me this money at least 260k (in. Dec 2022) per my VSO; I believe this is tax free money,
