Is it beneficial to create a separate entity that leases vehicles/tools/equipment to my operating LLC?
I’m a contract mechanic and have created my LLC. I was told to create a separate entity(LLC) that owns my truck and tools/equipment. Then lease my truck/tools/equipment to my operating LLC. Reason is I’m just starting so i don’t want my LLC to get sued and lose my truck/tools/equipment.
