I have a background in accounting and hold a CPA license, but I’ve found that my passion lies more in strategic tax planning rather than the traditional tax preparation process. Unfortunately, the CPA firm I previously worked for didn’t prioritize strategic thinking and often dismissed innovative approaches, preferring to stick to conventional methods. This lack of flexibility and innovation ultimately led me to step away from tax preparation last year.
What I truly enjoyed about my role was engaging with clients and devising effective strategies to minimize their tax liabilities. I’m curious if your system accommodates individuals like myself who may not excel in tax preparation but possess a strong aptitude for strategic planning. Additionally, I’m interested in learning if there are options available to outsource the tax preparation aspect, allowing me to focus solely on the strategic elements of tax advising.
