I am a mental health coach who sees clients remotely. As I build my clientele, I stay financially afloat by doing “gig app” work (Uber Eats/ Instacart etc). All of my income goes into the bank account of my single member LLC which was formed in TN in 2021. In a few days I will be moving out of TN permanently and will go wherever the Universe guides me, in an attempt to find appropriate help for my son who is suffering from mental health issues. That means, I could potentially be moving many times over the next 12 months. While it may be best to dissolve and form an LLC in another state best for my situation, that’s too much for me to take on right now. So my question is this: Should I maintain a registered agent in the LLC’s home state (TN) and also have one in whatever I reside ? And do I need to register as a foreign entity every time I move, or just register to do business? (Forgive me if those are the same things) Thank you so much for doing this podcast!
