Is it correct that you are supposed to use your SSN when filling out a W9 if your LLC is a single member LLC (not an S-corp or partnership)? You said recently to always use your llc’s EIN on these forms, but the online W9 forms require me to use my SSN, and it seems the IRS instructs to do this as well. Until my LLC files as an S-Corp (hopefully soon), is it all right to use an SSN on W9s? Any problems to look out for?
