I’m a US citizen living in another country. I’m dating a woman from foreign country, and we’re planning to marry & settle in a yet to be determined country. I have assets in the USA that’d I’d like her to inherit upon my death: IRA, Roth 401K, real estate platform investment, bank accounts, cryptocurrency. I will likely die first, I’m a fair bit older, but she might die before me. What steps should I be taking now to ensure that one of our deaths makes it as easy as possible for the surviving partner?
