The Definition of WRITE OFF = Bad Debt.
I’ve been harping on this for years. Write off is so confusing. Why can’t we use the term BUSINESS Expense instead. Once we start using Business Expense then most of the questions start answering themselves. Of course, I’ve listened to your information, and it’s SPOT ON. I agree wholeheartedly with everything EXCEPT how you use Write Off.
Basically, it’s a very confusing slang word for a very important concept.
