Mark and Matt,
A few weeks ago you guys did a wonderful show on different ways to use stock losses, including offsetting them by gains in real estate. However, can the reverse method be used? Can rental real estate losses (on paper) be used to offset short term capital gains from stock? I am not a real estate professional.
