Hey there, I was reading something about downsides of grouping real estate activities to qualify as a real estate professional, and I didn’t really understand any of it. Do you guys have any insights on potential downsides? Any limitations or down-the-road consequences you could expound on?
Side note: Many STRs are not “rental activities” according to Pub 925, are they still “real estate activities” for the purposes of qualifying as a RE Pro? Thanks
