Hi guys, love the show. I have a question about the home office and maximizing the auto deduction.
I have a 1099 consulting job and a home office that is the main office location. On my way to my W2 job I will stop by my business PO Box to check my business mail. Since I am leaving my home office to do a business errand do these miles count? Do they still count if I am driving to my W2 job after the post office visit? Basically I am shortening my commute to my W2 by performing a 1099 errand to the PO Box first. Also would the distance from my home to the PO Box matter? I have my PO Box close to the location of my W2 employment which is about 50 miles from my home office. Thanks!
