Hi Guys,
Big fan of the podcast.
I’m in the process of starting a new company that has the potential to be pretty substantial in size. Manufacturing homes as a development company. I’ve identified some key partners to help me build the business with. Each brings needed backgrounds in modular construction, business, and real estate. My biggest concern is going to each and giving away too much ownership in the whole company.
In the end, the company may consist of several branches, some of which potential partners have experience with and others where they don’t have experience. Possible branches would be: development, manufacturing, installation, sales, etc.
What ways would you suggest structuring their partnership with the company to give them extreme ownership while not giving away too much of the whole as the founder and CEO?
Thanks for your time.
